When I received a sample of Lu Lu’s American Baby Rock Star Paparazzi Lime Shampoo, I was shocked at what I read on the flyer that was enclosed: “Did you know…'Tear Free' products actually contain a chemical numbing agent to numb your baby's eyes so they can't feel all the chemicals burning them. The eyes are still being irritated, they just can't feel it, yuck!” I honestly did not know that!
According to their website, Lu Lu’s American Baby products uses “only 100% Natural Ingredients & Organic whenever possible. Most shampoos are filled with dyes, fragrance, cheap ingredients, unnecessary fillers, and even controversial preservatives. Did you know…approximately 75% of what is put onto our skin is absorbed into the bloodstream?"
I couldn’t wait to try out the shampoo on DS. The Paparazzi Lime Shampoo comes with a convenient hand pump, and the shampoo smells soooooo good! The shampoo lathers really well, and it didn’t sting DS’s eyes at all. What I like best though, is how it has no dyes, artificial fragrances, parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, or chemicals.
Of course, I had to try it out too, and I absolutely love it! I already have plans to buy more, and I’m even planning to buy their Rock Star Tangerine Limousine Conditioner.
I also received a sample of the Rock Star Organic Lip Balm "Healing Stick" which can not only be used on chapped lips, but on scars and other dry areas of your face and body. How cool is that?
Even though the Rock Star line was launched to appeal to the “tween” ages, I highly recommend their products, especially the shampoo, for anyone, even if you're older or younger than a "tween." A shampoo with a cool name, an awesome fragrance, and natural and organic ingredients—what more could you ask for?
