30 Days to Natural

I know many people, especially moms, who are trying to become greener, myself included. According to a recent Mom Central survey, “81% of Moms consider themselves to be ‘green.’ However, in many cases, being green puts more pressure on already busy Moms.”

I certainly agree.

Fortunately, Green Works, the wonderful line of natural cleaners by Clorox, created the 30 Days to Natural website, where you can “plant a daisy” and join people all over the country who are trying to live a greener lifestyle. To "plant a daisy," you simply sign up on their website, where you can get a daily green tip. These tips can also be sent to you via email or your mobile phone.

I’m sure everyone already helps make the environment greener in their own way, whether it be through recycling, carpooling, or using power strips to turn off electronics not in use. 30 Days to Natural will send you practical tips to give you even more ideas on how to live a greener lifestyle. A recent tip shared how to “Shop smart. Keep a few reusable shopping bags within easy reach - in your car, purse and office or just near the front door.” This tip is definitely for me—I have several reusable bags but I alwasy forget them. Now, I will make sure to keep one in my purse!

Besides signing up for daily green tips, you can view web videos from moms who are sharing their journey to a greener, more natural lifestyle, join the Green Works Facebook page and connect with others going green, or even upload your own video on the Green Works Facebook page and share your own green journey.

30 Days to Natural is a great site for anyone, no matter what shade of green you are. Start your 30 Days to Natural and plant your daisy today!
