If you watched the Disney movie Enchanted, I’m sure you’ve heard of the Oscar-nominated song “So Close,” which was performed by singer/songwriter Jon McLaughlin at this past year’s Academy Awards ceremony.
According to his bio:

Jon’s newly released CD, OK NOW, features the hit single “Beating My Heart.”
I love this single. It’s the kind of song I can picture myself singing to while driving in my car. I really like his style—a bit of pop, a bit of rock, a bit of soul.
