I personally don’t know any mom who hasn’t heard of Baby Einstein or doesn’t own at least one Baby Einstein product. Baby Einstein seems to be a staple in many households with infants or toddlers, and the products provide a great way to interact with your children while entertaining and educating them at the same time.
The first Baby Einstein DVD my son ever received was Baby Mozart, but we ended up giving that to my mother-in-law so she could watch it with him whenever she babysat him. Thanks to Mom Central, I was able to get a copy of the 10th anniversary special edition of Baby Mozart (this DVD wasn’t going anywhere!), along with the Baby Einstein Touch and Feel Baby Animals board book and the Lullaby Classics CD.
I remember when we watched the original version of Baby Mozart. DS#1 seemed mesmerized as he watched all the different colors and shapes and animals, and DH and I would describe each image as it appeared onscreen. Although DS#1 is a bit older now, when we watched the 10th anniversary Baby Mozart DVD, he was still very attentive and watched the entire DVD, and this time around he was able to point to various objects. The 10th anniversary edition also has special features, such as Discovery Cards and Activity Modes. You can be sure that once DS#2 gets a little older we’ll be watching Baby Mozart with him too.

The Baby Einstein Touch and Feel Baby Animals board book was also a hit, because DS#1 loves touch and feel books. Reading together is one of our favorite things to do, so feeling all the different textures as we went through the book was fun for the both of us.
The Lullaby Classics CD is also now a favorite. We already had the Playtime Music Box CD which I began playing while I was pregnant with DS#1. After he was born we’d play it during bath time to calm him (since he hated baths). With DS#2 here, I play the Lullaby Classics CD whenever it seems like he needs to be soothed (which is quite often!). I simply sit in the glider, play the CD, and rock him...It’s these kinds of moments I cherish the most since I know the boys are growing so fast!
Baby Einstein has truly made a difference in our lives. Because DS#1 has a developmental speech delay and is going through speech therapy, he often signs to communicate with us. And how did he learn to sign? You guessed it—Baby Einstein’s Baby’s First Signs DVD. He learned how to sign milk, more, please, and many other common words so he could communicate with us. Therefore, I really do love Baby Einstein and the entire line of products—the DVDs, CDs, books, toys, clothes, and more.
We all lead busy lives, and the holidays make our lives even busier, but it’s important to always make an effort to spend quality time with the little ones, and with the help of Baby Einstein, we can connect with our little ones in many creative ways--through play, through song, through story, and through video. I can’t imagine what life would be without Baby Einstein products!

Thank you to Baby Einstein for providing the product(s) for review and/or giveaway.

I received a book and CD as a shower gift for our first baby, and have been enjoying Baby Einstein ever since!
