Beleaf

I know many people who use reusable bags whenever they shop. I have four reusable bags—two imprinted with a store’s name, and two with a more generic design. However, for a long time now I've been trying to find a reusable bag that wasn't store specific, and one that had a pretty design that I could use anywhere, anytime. When I saw an article in a magazine (I can’t remember the name of the magazine) featuring several eco-friendly bags, one of them caught my eye—a pretty tote by Beleaf, and it was exactly what I was looking for.

According to the website, Beleaf was launched in 2007 as “an environmental program developed by Rizco Design which includes a line of educational clothing that is comprised of high quality organic and recyclable fabrics that embody green learnings which are shared to show how small changes make a big impact. The line was first launched with the reusable tote...One percent of the sales of Beleaf will be donated to 1% For The Planet.

Don’t you just love the Beleaf Bag? I do. It’s made out of 100% organic cotton and imprinted with water-based inks, and I love the design and the color scheme. What’s really great is that the bag is sturdy with nice, wide shoulder straps and is spacious enough to hold a whole bunch of stuff! The Beleaf Bag can carry lots of groceries, books, or toys. You can even use the bag to head out to the beach, the park, or a even use it on a quick weekend getaway. This bag is very versatile and really can be used anywhere, anytime, for a variety of purposes.

***THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED***
Congratulations to Tammy and Selina!

We're practicing a couple of these:
- We've turned over a new leaf by replacing plastic bags with our huge arsenal of reusable bags.
- We recycle all the paper products that we buy, we've cut down on disposable paper products and we try to buy only products that are made of recycled paper.
- I contacted my local Congressman about renewable energy
- We buy organic foods and local as much as possible

These are some great tips, and there are a few I hadn't thought of that we want to implement.
