Picci

When I was pregnant with DS#1, I searched all over for cute, modern, quality bedding and accessories that were neutral in design and color. Too bad I didn’t find out about Picci products until recently.

Picci “was founded 35 years ago in Florence, Italy by Paola Cherubini, whose beautiful designs and eye for detail have helped Picci become a leader in Italian baby bedding. Since its inception, Paola has guided Picci with her amazing creative talents, an unceasing demand for the highest quality, all natural fabrics manufactured with expert Italian workmanship.”

The entire Picci line is absolutely beautiful, and their Natura products are no exception. The new Natura line is “a beautiful organic bedding choice that respects a child’s environment and health. Made from 100% certified organic materials, this ensemble features a warm sage green and cream color combination and cotton grown using natural fertilizer and free from any chemical treatments. There are no heavy metals used to dye the fabrics and Natura’s soft stuffing is derived entirely from maize and free from impurities. Even the threads used to embroider and sew the Natura bedding are certified organic.”

The Natura line includes bassinets, crib sheets, pillows, and more, and the cream and sage designs would be great for both boys and girls.

You can get a special 10% discount off of the entire line of Picci products by visiting
Goores.com and entering code sspic; offer expires February 15, 2009 (cannot be combined with other discounts).

Picci’s products may be a bit pricey for some, but you'll get what you pay for—absolutely beautiful handcrafted pieces made with an amazing attention to detail.
