Then Along Came an Angel

Although I’ve never had any experiences with angels (not that I’m aware of), I know of other people who have said they had experiences with angels, and I never doubted them. After reading the book Then Along Came an Angel–Messengers of Deliverance, compiled by Julie Bonn Heath, thanks to the Family Review Network, I now believe in angels even more.

Then Along Came an Angel is a collection of stories submitted by people all over the world about their experiences with angels in all sorts of forms—whether it be a symbol, a being (human or otherwise), or a voice. The stories are about people of all ages and backgrounds, and I felt a range of emotions reading story after story—I was inspired, sad, amazed, uplifted…at times tears flowed down my face after reading some of the stories.

“Angel to the Rescue” was my favorite story because it had a powerful question: “Do we bring certain situations into our own lives to learn from or are we just victims of life?” The stories in the book, especially “Angel to the Rescue,” really made me think about my own life as I reflected on the choices I have made thus far, and the obstacles I had overcome in the past…did a divine being help guide me to where I am today?

Then Along Came an Angel is a beautiful book with many touching stories. It would make a wonderful gift for anyone, anytime. It’s simply a “divine” book, and can currently be purchased on Amazon for $11.55.

Even if you don’t believe in angels, Then Along Came an Angel will make you appreciate what matters most in life.

We are living in a time of so much uncertainty, and with all that’s going on around us, it can feel overwhelming and hopeless…but sometimes it takes just a little faith and some divine intervention, or simply just an uplifting story of an angelic experience, to help you get through those tough times, get you back on track, and give you a little hope…

I do believe in Angels and although I can't pinpoint any major "experience" like in these stories I do see God's touch in my life in many little ways almost daily and often looking back on things I see the ones I missed when they ocurred.

I'm swinging by my fellow hosts to say Hello and i ma enjoying reading all the different thoughts on this book and the stories.

I definitely believe in angels. I talk to my angels all the time and I always ask them for their assistance. There is never anything to small or big to ask your angels for. I ask them for help with finding a parking spot or to guide me safely home during a snowstorm. I also suffer from chronic pain so I call upon my angels to bring me healing during my flare ups. I can feel their loving presence around me and I know that they will never leave me and that they love me unconditionally.

I BELIEVE IN ANGELS!!!

Great contest.

O my husband had an encounter with what his family believes was an angel as a child. He was wearing a Speedo swimsuit! :)

I have never experienced a particular angel moment, but I have had instances when I wake up at a certain time for several nights in a row thinking of a person, then call them and find that they are dealing with a bad situation. I've heard way too many angel experiences to not believe. It's wonderful to know that they help us...

The experience of reading justifies the cost of the book.

Read this book and become a true believer in the divine.

Hi, In the year 2000, my only and older brother passed away in March and my mom in September. Needless to say, it was not a very good year for my dad, sister or me. I do believe in angelic interventions and happenings! Some of those happened to my family and myself after the death of our loved ones. It took my sister awhile to relate this to me. She is not as open as I am to these type of occurrences. One night, her husband was working the night shift at his job. She was in bed asleep. When she awoke at some point, a fog like mist began to fill her room. She intuitively knew that it was our mom and brother. She was not ready to deal with it and the mist disappeared.
The next incident happened with me!
Late one night, I was driving on a winding country road headed to my home. Something very bright in the sky caught my attention out of the corner of my eye. I literally saw a sprinkling of golden confetti in just one spot in the night sky! It didn't rain down, it stayed right there in one spot. Never before or since have I ever seen anything comparable to that in the sky. The third episode happened late one evening while taking my dad back to his home. My mom was a triplet and she was the first pass away and her two sisters died within a year or so of her. My dad and I were just driving along and all of a sudden, three tiny does that still had there spots stood motionless in front of the car's headlights!!!!!
They stared at us in unbelief and we stared right back. I had to slowly inch my way up before they would even budge. My dad is 90 and said he had never seen this happen before. It is my belief that there are no coindidences. Thanks, Cindi
