A friend of mine joined weight watchers earlier this year to get ready for her wedding this month. When her wedding date finally arrived, she was slim, healthy, and looked absolutely beautiful!
Weight Watchers provides a variety of resources for those seeking to live a healthier lifestyle. According to the website, “Weight Watchers doesn’t teach you how to diet. We are dedicated to inspiring and helping you adopt a healthier way to live. For life. So you can successfully learn how to lose weight and keep it off by living, not dieting.”
Through the Family Review Network, I found out about new interactive Weight Watchers tools and a rewards program that was launched to support Weight Watchers fans:
Facebook: Weight Watchers recently launched a fan page on Facebook where you can get recipes, participate in polls, share photos, get product information, and more. This is a great place to connect with others who are on their weight loss journey and get encouragement and advice from other fans.
I Really Want: Another cool tool is the "I Really Want!" interactive widget, which helps you find a healthier alternative when you’re hungry for a snack. For instance, I love chocolate, so when I entered Chocolate in the widget, I was presented with a variety of healthy Weight Watchers options, such as Weight Watchers Chocolate Round Ice Cream Sandwich and Weight Watchers Peanut Butter Cups. YUM!
IncrEdible Rewards: Who wouldn’t want to be rewarded for eating? That’s right—you can be rewarded when you buy Weight Watchers products in the new IncrEdible rewards program. For every Weight Watchers food product you buy, simply cut out and save the UPC barcodes and follow the simple instructions at the IncrEdible Rewards website. You can redeem your credits for magazines, toys, electronics, apparel, and more!
After seeing the transformation my friend went through while participating in Weight Watchers, and finding out how Weight Watchers has created innovative tools and programs to support their fans, I've become a fan as well!

My MIL is here and has done fabulously with WWs and I am sharing your online tips with her, since she just received a MacBook. :)
Their program for nursing moms is excellent. I lost 20 lbs on it shortly after my son was born. I'll be starting back up on Weight Watchers after the 1st of the year, when they run all their deals for joining. I have 40 more lbs to lose.
Basically, WW is just a sneaky way to get people to count calories and eat according to the food pyramid. When followed correctly, what you really learn is proper portion size and balanced eating.
