Good For You Girls

For 2009, one of my top priorities is to take better care of myself, inside and out, from head to toe. Among other things, this means taking better care of my skin. I’ve been fortunate to try out some wonderful natural and organic skin care products, and I am happy to share with you my latest and greatest find—Good For You Girls.

According to the website, the Good For You Girls Complete Skin Care Kit, which includes a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, “has everything you need to put your best face forward. Our simple, three-step process of cleansing, toning and moisturizing will effectively clean skin of impurities, balance pH, and help to protect from the elements leaving only clean, luminous, naturally beautiful skin. These three products are designed to compliment each other and work together harmoniously.”

There are so many things I love about Good For You Girls.

The packaging is not only pretty, but it’s also environmentally friendly. Its printed on recycled material with water-based inks, and the bottles are recyclable too.

I was also pleased that not only did the products smell good—a nice, light, citrusy scent, but the fragrance wasn’t overwhelming. For me, when a product’s fragrance is really strong it can be a turn off.

My skin care regimen began with the cleanser. A little goes a long way—just a small amount works up a nice lather on your face. Next I used the toner. It’s alcohol-free and was very gentle on my skin. It didn’t sting or irritate my skin at all. I finished up with the moisturizer, which is oil-free. I liked how it was light and creamy, and not heavy like how some other moisturizers are.

After using the Good For You Girls products my skin has been feeling soft and smooth, fresh and clean. Not only do the products work, but they are safe for your skin. I’m learning so much, thanks to great companies such as Good For You Girls, about ingredients you should avoid, and Good For You Girls’ products don’t contain any of those bad-for-you ingredients, such as sulfates and parabens.

Even though I’m technically not a “girl,” Good For You Girls’ products worked great on my skin, so I guess you could say they are also “Wonderful For You Women!”
