Yanni Voices

With all that goes on in life, sometimes it’s nice to just sit back, relax, and listen to some great music. Thanks to the One2One Network, I’ve been able to do just that after receiving the Yanni Voices Preview CD and DVD set.

According to the website, “Yanni, in collaboration with legendary producer Ric Wake, has discovered and developed four of the most extraordinary young voices in music today. Two years in the making, Yanni returns to the global stage with a dazzling new tour. For the first time ever, Yanni re-interprets his classic compositions and debuts new music introducing show-stopping vocalists Nathan Pacheco, Chloe, Ender Thomas and Leslie Mills.”

Yanni Voices Preview was published in conjunction with the Yanni Voices PBS Special, and to get a sneak peek at the upcoming Yanni Voices: Live in Concert Tour.

The track listing for the Yanni Voices Preview CD is:

  • Enchantment
  • The Keeper
  • Change
  • Desire (Deseo)
  • Before the Night Ends
  • Adagio in C Minor
  • Until the Last Moment
  • Kill Me with Your Love
  • In the Mirror
  • Bajo El Cielo De Noviembre
  • Tribute
  • Forever with You (Bonus Track)

The DVD features the same tracks, with the exception of the bonus track. It focuses on the four vocalists, and to actually see them performing with Yanni on the DVD is quite captivating! You get a little insight into their personalities and their passion for music. The DVD gives you a taste of the upcoming tour, and you can tell that it will be a fantastic show for those who are attending.

After listening to the CD and watching the DVD, you can tell that these young artists have a fantastic future ahead of them.

Nathan Pacheco has an amazing operatic voice. I love listening to him on Tribute.

Chloe’s voice is very versatile, and she’s featured on Until the Last Moment, which is one of my favorite tracks.

Ender Thomas has a bold voice with a Latin flair, and sounds very passionate on Bajo El Cielo De Noviembre.

Leslie Mills has a beautiful voice, and her song, Before the Night Ends--a touching, romantic track, is my favorite on the Yanni Preview Voices CD.

Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, some of the songs have been reminding me of one of my most favorite Valentine's Day surprises. One Valentine's Day several years ago, I came home from work and DH asked me to check the mail. When I opened the mailbox, there was a clue for a treasure hunt! After finding many clues, my treasure was a bunch of bath and body products and a nice, home-cooked dinner.

Isn't that sweet?

I'm sure you'd enjoy the music on Yanni's Voices. The combination of the outstanding voices of these young artists and Yanni’s music results in beautiful songs that all music lovers would appreciate, and they may bring back your own sweet Valentine's Day memories as well.

Thank you to Yanni Voices and PBS for providing the product(s) for review and/or giveaway.
