Baby Einstein: World Music DVD & CD

Hawaii is often described as a melting pot—a state full of people from diverse backgrounds from all across the world. My boys themselves come from a diverse background, as they are a mixture of Japanese, Filipino, English, Irish, and Scottish. There are many ways to teach my boys about their cultural backgrounds and the many different cultures around the world, such as through stories, travel, tasting different foods, and exposing them to different languages.

And there’s one language that’s considered universal—the language of music.

Thanks to
Mom Central, my boys and some of their friends were able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the new Baby Einstein World Music DVD (ARV $19.99) and CD (ARV $6.98) at our very own Baby Einstein World Music Playdate Premiere party.

"World Music introduces you and your little one to beautiful sounds from every continent, bringing a fresh, new experience of music and culture that is the perfect complement to Baby Einstein’s classical music DVD line. Sing, dance and play to exotic rhythms that open the door to an appreciation of different cultures from around the world. Your baby will be inspired to drum the African djembe, shake Latin maracas, strum a Celtic harp from Ireland and more! It’s an international celebration of music that will have you both clapping for more."

DS1 and his friends loved the Baby Einstein World Music DVD and CD. The music made the kids run around and dance, the puppets were amusing, and we were all captivated by the beautiful images from around the world.

DS1 loved watching Jane the Monkey beat on her drum as she traveled the world and discovered new friends and new instruments. He especially loved her trip to Antarctica—watching the penguins were so much fun!

There is a fantastic new feature on this DVD called the “Grow with Me” setting. I can view it in Mode 1 with DS2 so he can enjoy all of the visuals and music, and I can view it in Mode 2 with DS1 so he can learn more words, names of different instruments, and watch new puppet shows.

Another new feature is “Select a Segment,” where you can watch 5 or 10 minute segments of the DVD, just the puppet shows, or just the song segments.

The Baby Einstein World Music CD was a nice complement to the DVD, featuring 22 tracks of music from around the world. You can also insert the CD into your computer to access Discovery Cards and Song Lyrics.

Baby Einstein’s World Music DVD and CD is a wonderful way to introduce your little ones to the beautiful universal language of music, as well as to people and places, from all around the world.

Shop: You can purchase Baby Einstein’s World Music DVD and CD on the
