Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Plant a Seed Promotion

Mom Central has teamed up with Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes to spread the word about the Plant a Seed Promotion, which aims to “help rebuild America’s playing fields.”

Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes believes that every kid should have a place to be active and play hard so they can be their very best. But as communities everywhere face difficult financial decisions, many are finding themselves without the funds they need to maintain their local playing fields. That is why we are committed to rebuilding athletic fields all across America. On the right fields, it’s amazing what you can grow.

Thousands of fields were nominated to be renovated, but now Phase 2 is upon us, and 100 finalists have been selected based on criteria such as demand for the field, feasibility of a makeover, and how often the field will be used. Now it’s time to vote to see which 30 fields will be declared the Grand Prize Winners and be made over!

You can search for fields by state, type of sport, and other criteria, or read through the various stories about why a field was chosen as a finalist.

On the Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes Plant a Seed site, you can even Create a Seed Pack with your child’s photo to celebrate your child and help spread the word about the Plant a Seed Promotion and encourage people to vote.

You have until May 31, 2009 11:59 ET to vote!

The Plant a Seed Promotion is such a great campaign. Cast your vote to help determine which fields will be renovated so kids across the country can simply do what kids love to do, play and have fun!
