Natural Joy

Lately, after constantly reading about how makeup and other skin care products contains not-so-good-for-you ingredients, I’ve been trying to find more companies that offer the best Natural Cosmetics and Natural Skin Care products, and Natural Joy is one of those companies.

According to the website, Joy, the Owner, describes how “A couple of years ago I began trying to find natural alternatives for all of the cosmetics and personal care products that myself and my children use. I was fortunate to receive samples of products from a line that Natural Joy carries—Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques: Soft Beige, Fawn, and Natural Mineral Foundations (ARV $1.50 samples; $29.99 full); Petals and Summer Mineral Cheek Colours (ARV $1.50 samples; $11.99 full); Taupe and Cinnamon Eye Colours (ARV $1.50 samples; $7.99 full); Honey Rose Lip Tint (ARV $10.99).

The Natural Mineral Foundation was the perfect shade for me, and it made my skin look and feel smooth. The cheek and eye colors were just the right shades—subtle enough for me since I don’t like to wear very dramatic colors. My favorites were the Cinnamon Eye Colour and the Summer Cheek Colour. However, out of all the Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques I tried, my favorite product was the Lip Tint. Not only did it give my lips just enough color while moisturizing them, it smelled so good!

What I liked best about all of the products I tried is that they are “free from chemical preservatives, synthetics and all those other nasty ingredients.”

In addition to Mineral Cosmetics, Natural Joy also offers a variety of Natural Skin Care products, and they even offer other natural, eco-friendly, and organic products, such as teething rattles and soy candles!
