Bebe au Lait

I have a drawer full of bibs. Most are terry cloth bibs that I received at showers, but there are also other great bibs made out of different materials, others with crumb catchers, and yet others with various special features. I recently discovered a bib made by Bebe au Lait that I thought was really unique and couldn’t wait to get my hands on—the Double Reversible Bib.

According to the website, “Our two-sided Double Bib features Bebe au Lait's signature chic prints on one side and plush terry cloth on the other. Perfectly oversized, it has two double sided magnets that seamlessly and securely fasten the bib across the chest with zero hassle. The absence of Velcro and cumbersome closures also mean Baby's skin and clothes are protected. Totally reversible, with a possibility of four sides, this innovative bib allows for super clean feeding every time, even when busy moms and dads haven't had a chance to wash it. (And yes, its 100% machine washable!)”

The Double Reversible Bib (ARV $22) is currently offered in 10 styles, and I thought it was interesting how the bib uses magnets to secure it instead of Velcro or another type of closure. The magnets seemed easier to pull apart than other types of closures, but they secured the bib well enough.

The bib provides good coverage and seems to be more comfortable around the neck area than other bibs, and I thought the best feature is how there are four clean sides you can use—so you would really need only one bib for the entire day. This would mean less bibs in the wash, and the less I have to wash, the better!

I personally would have preferred if all four sides had designs versus just the front two sides, simply because of how messy feedings can get and stains would be more conspicuous on the reverse white terry cloth sides.

Despite that, I think Bebe au Lait’s Double Reversible Bibs are truly innovative and a must-have for parents of babies!
