Little Music Man loves to scribble with “ayons” (crayons). However, every single crayon he owns has broken into tiny pieces, making it hard for him to draw and color, and it’s also a lot more trouble to clean up. Thanks to Nico and Zoe, he now has some Soy Crayon Rocks that we both love!Stacy and Pamela are the moms and owners of Nico & Zoe. Our inspiration is our children. As parents, we are always on the lookout for quality, locally made, funky toys, while still getting a good value for your money.
I was fortunate to receive 16 Soy Crayon Rocks (ARV $8.00) from Nico & Zoe in a variety of colors. They are nicely sized and a lot easier for Little Music Man to scribble with. Of course I love the fact that they are “are made from renewable soybeans grown in the USA and are colored with natural mineral powders,” and I also love how Little Music Man can’t easily break them into numerous little pieces.
The crayon rocks are recommended for kids ages 3 and over who no longer put toys in their mouths. However, I would still keep an eye on your child, especially if he or she is on the younger side. I watch Little Music Man closely whenever he uses the crayon rocks just in case he decides to pop one in his mouth, and also because Smiley Boy is always nearby, wanting to grab one of the crayon rocks to put in his own mouth.
