I’ve mentioned previously how I’ve watched a couple of episodes of Hannah Montana before, however, I had no clue that Mitchel Musso, who plays Oliver Oken, was also a talented singer until I received his Self-Titled Debut Album, Mitchel Musso, thanks to Walt Disney Records (ARV $13.99).Mitchel Musso's self-titled debut album has a distinctive pop/rock sound that instantly connects with his generation. The album features 3 songs co-written by Musso, plus a collaboration with his brother Mason from Metro Station. The CD unlocks an exclusive stream of "Let's Make This Last 4 Ever" performed on Hannah Montana and includes a fold-out poster.
The Mitchel Musso CD include songs on subjects that teens can easily relate to, such as love, heartbreak, fitting in, and believing in yourself.
Although Mitchel Musso offers pop and rock tracks geared towards a younger audience, that didn’t mean I didn’t enjoy any of the songs. My favorite track is Shout It (featuring Mason Musso). It has an addicting chorus that I find myself singing over and over again in my head. I also like The In Crowd, a song that kids will find very relatable.
DH had a favorite track too—Get Out!
Mitchel Musso’s debut album is full of energizing and meaningful pop and rock songs, and will definitely delight young fans (and maybe their parents too)!
