For the first time in Bake-Off® history, you can help select 10 of the final 100 recipes! Every two weeks, a new pair of recipes will be posted here. Vote for your favorite, one vote for each of the 10 recipe challenges. The recipe that receives the most votes in each challenge will move onto the 44th Pillsbury Bake-Off® Contest finals and compete for the $1 million grand prize in Orlando in April 2010.
A new pair of recipes for the You Be the Judge! Challenge will be posted on bakeoff.com every two weeks (June 25, July 9, July 23, August 6, August 20, September 3, and September 17, 2009) and you can vote once for your favorite of the two recipes. All 100 finalists will be posted on bakeoff.com in October 2009.
After I registered to become a member of Pillsbury, I voted between two scrumptious looking cookies. It was hard to decide on which recipe to vote for, and if you have difficulty deciding too, you can watch this video featuring Jann Atkins, Bake-Off® Kitchens assistant manager, for tips on evaluating a recipe.
I think it’s great for Pillsbury to get help from the community in selecting 10 of the 100 final recipes. And who knows, maybe one of the recipes you vote for may end up winning the grand prize!
