At many weddings I’ve been to, the favors are often chocolate-covered fortune cookies, containing a message from the bride and groom thanking the guests for celebrating their special day. I always thought that was a cute (and delicious) idea.

I was fortunate to sample some of the flavors offered by Fancy Fortune Cookies (ARV $41-$48/100 count): Cool Cappuccino, Toasted Coconut, Minty Mint, Passion Fruit Punch , “Oh Wow!” Orange, Luscious Lemon, Cherry Bliss, Horseshoe Blue, Original Vanilla, Very Berry Raspberry.I admit that at first, seeing a pink or blue fortune cookie was a little strange, but once you eat one, you’ll be taken aback by the flavors. Who knew a fortune cookie could taste like a cherry or blueberry?
Little Music Man and I sampled each flavor, but I couldn’t decide on which one I liked best, so I had to sample each of the flavors AGAIN. It’s so hard to pick just one favorite flavor, but if I had to choose, I’d pick Vanilla. I know, so simple, but it’s so delicious!
I enjoyed most of the cookies, especially the fruit-flavored ones, but my least favorite was Cool Cappuccino, only because I don’t care for coffee-type flavors.
DH’s favorite was raspberry, and I couldn’t tell which one was Little Music Man’s favorite, because he’d just ask for “ore” (more) regardless of the flavor or color, so I guess that means he liked them all!
