K'NEX Sesame Street Neighborhood Collection Review

Thanks to Team Mom, Little Music Man received his very first K’NEX set—the K’NEX Sesame Street Neighborhood Collection Police Station (ARV $19.99).

As soon as I showed him the box, Little Music Man kept telling me, “open please, open please.” So I opened the box and tried to empty out the contents as quickly as I could.

Little Music Man immediately took the Ernie and Elmo characters. He kept taking off Ernie’s hat and Elmo’s shoes.

While he was occupied with Ernie’s hat, and Elmo’s shoes, I tried to put together the police station, stoplight, and other parts.

Little Music Man did try to help, and what I noticed was that the pieces were a lot easier to snap together and pull apart than some of the other similar types of building blocks that he owns.

The K’NEX sets are great for helping to develop fine motor and cognitive skills, and to foster a child’s imagination! Little Music Man could try and build the neighborhood as it’s pictured on the box, or he can build the neighborhood any which way he wants! He can also do other activities, such as sort the pieces by color or size, create the tallest building possible, and so much more.

Little Music Man loves playing with his K’NEX set, and the fact that it includes Seasme Street characters makes it even more fun. I know a lot of little kids who would enjoy the K’NEX sets, and I’m sure Little Music Man would love to get even more sets to expand his collection!
