NoPlastic.ca Discount

NoPlastic.ca, one of Sage and Savvy’s sponsors, has recently added a variety of new items to their selection of products that are safer, both for you and the environment, than plastic.

We started NoPlastic.ca in order to make people aware that there are better and healthier options to using plastic. The widespread use of plastics has left its footprint on our bodies and the environment. A number of studies have shown that no one seems to have been spared from exposure to the dangerous toxins in plastics. This information has made us aware that plastics are not benign materials, and we cannot indiscriminately continue their use. We have to make better choices. We have to make the right choices. We have to make the responsible choices.

Here is a list of NoPlastic.ca’s new items:

  • Partitioned air tight container
  • 100% hemp sandwich/food bags
  • Japanese made stoneware bowls - gift set
  • Ceramic teapots
  • Glass teapot
  • Teapot warmer
  • Knotted bamboo skewers
  • Bamboo party forks
  • Stainless steel canister set
  • Children’s ceramic bowls & plates
  • Ceramic teacups
  • New sports cap for stainless steel bottles
    & more!

The Knotted Skewers look like something I would use a lot of, since whenever I go to gatherings I often make fruit and marshmallow skewer treats for the kids. I recently saw “plain” bamboo skewers at a local store, which cost $1.99 for a pack of 50. For the same price, I could get the knotted skewers, which would add a fun touch to the treats I make!

The Reusable Hemp Food Pouch/Napkins also look like something I’d want to try. I admit, I do use quite a bit of plastic bags, so this would be a great item to have to reduce my plastic bag usage. And the fact that it doubles is a napkin is a bonus—I love multi-tasking products!

Just in time for the holidays, NoPlastic.ca is offering a 10% discount on orders of $50 or more with promo code save. Now is a great time to find gifts for those trying to be greener or who want to use products safer than plastics. And don't forget to get some items for yourself too!
