Add More ~ing to Your Life by Gabrielle Bernstein Review and Giveaway

Thanks to QNY, I received the book Add More ~ing to Your Life: A Hip Guide to Happiness by Gabrielle Bernstein (ARV $14.99, QNY), which was a very enlightening read!

In her hip self-transformational book Add More ~ing To Your Life, motivational speaker and life coach Gabrielle Bernstein truly shows you how to make happiness a way of life. Ms. Bernstein is bringing happy back.

Designed to bulldoze negative thought patterns and create personal change through positive affirmations, physical activity and visualization meditations, Gabrielle guides the reader to happiness in 30-days through her dynamic ~ing Equation a proven method of sharpening ones intuitive senses and activating untapped inspiration.

Gabrielle will prepare you to change your life by accessing a state of “flow” helping you connect with your ~ing (inner guide)- readying you to release your limiting beliefs and to choose happiness.

Rethinking + Moving + Receiving x 30 days = Changing.
The ~ing Equation is designed to bulldoze negative thought patterns and create positive change, achieving this in 30 days of affirmations, physical activity, and meditation. The author’s methodology is a sure-fire way to guide readers to “get out of their own way” and start loving—and fully living— life. The unique inclusion of physical activity helps readers to shift the way their body responds to their minds. Each activity offers an opportunity for the reader to experience a state of flow that cannot be accessed idly sitting in front of their computer screen. Anything but a dry, how-to manual, Add More ing to Your Life is a fun, hip guide for a new generation.

As I mentioned, Add More ~ing to Your Life was very enlightening.

So much of what Bernstein mentions in her book really made me think, such as the power of the “F” word (forgiving), how mirroring can teach us so much about ourselves, and the potential of quantum shifting to make me a better person.

One part of the book which really hit home focused on releasing romantic illusions. It gave a very powerful example of a situation in which a woman's friend showed up really late to a concert and she wasn’t upset with her friend when she finally arrived. However, later she imagined that if it were a date instead of a friend, she would be so livid if he had shown up late!

This really made me stop and think, and now I know I need to lighten up and treat DH with more respect, as I would a friend.

Add More ~ing to Your Life also offered a lot of great tips and examples of what to do for the Rethinking, Moving, and Receiving steps. Whether it’s aerobic exercise, meditating, or journaling, each step is performed with a purpose.

I just finished the book two days ago, but I know by implementing and applying the steps, I will be on my way to an even more amazing life!

I love to have some more positive thinking in my life.
There are just days when you just can't seem to kick the negative thoughts out of your head and this would be a good book for me to read to see how to do that.
