I first heard of Denise Austin back in college. She had an exercise show on TV in the mornings, which I would occasionally do. Ever since then I’ve seen her on countless fitness programs, on TV shows, and featured in magazine articles, so I was eager to review Denise’s Daily Dozen: The Easy, Every Day Program to Lose Up to 12 Pounds in 2 Weeks (ARV $16.99).
Much more than just another exercise book, Denise's Daily Dozen covers a whole range of health and diet related concepts yet manages it all in a no-stress, time-conscious program of 12's. At its core, this book contains the minimum daily requirements to keep the reader flexible, strong and trim. Organized simply into seven chapters, which equal the seven days of the week, it covers a full week in daily allotments. At first I thought Denise’s Daily Dozen was just about exercises, but it’s so much more. She offers great tips on how to de-stress, eat healthy, how to curb cravings, and she even offers lots of tasty recipes.
Throughout the book people’s success stories are shared to help motivate me even more.
Denise’s Daily Dozen is a great book, and I love how it’s broken up by day. For each day, Denise has suggestions on exercises and meal plans, and overall the book is very easy to read and follow.
All of her ideas, exercises, and recipes were not too complicated, and Denise seemed to be very encouraging throughout the book.
Denise’s Daily Dozen offers a lot of practical suggestions that should help me to not only lose weight, but to live a better life overall, with just a minimum of 12 minutes a day.

I would love to win because I too watched Denise in college. I would get up early when I lived in the dorm room by myself for a semester, do her exercise, she made it so easy, and then walk to a quiet place on campus to watch the sun come up. I love her, she brings back such wonderful memories!
