Meet Sophia – a little girl who loves to explore and learn about all the interesting jobs that people do every day. Share this story app with your kids today and join Sophia on her quest to answer the question, “What do I want to be when I grow up?”
In this delightful children's story, the first in the series, Sophia is inspired by a class trip to the art museum to pull out her paints and brushes and see if maybe a painter is what she wants to be!
As with other iOrbi story apps we were fortunate to review, Sophia Wants to Be…A Painter was a really cute story. Little Music Man first listened to the story narrated to him, but sometimes he couldn’t wait for the narration to end so he’d scroll through to the next page before the entire page was read. However, he seems to be more attentive when I read the story myself.
My favorite feature of this app is the ability to record your own voice. This allows me to “get in character,” and I think makes it an even better story-telling experience! There's also an option to view the story with or without text, as well as to listen to it being narrated in different languages!
Although Sophia Wants to Be…A Painter didn’t have any neat features within the story itself, it was still a nice story and a great app to add to our collection!
