Designed by the creator of KLAX, Star*Burst feeds on the obsessive compulsive nature to make order out of disorder that lies inside all of us. Streams of brightly colored gems flow down a wide Conveyor Deck and must be caught on a paddle before falling into the pit and being destroyed. Your paddle will only hold 5 gems so you must act quickly to toss them up to the rack and create Bursts (patterns) to score!Star*Burst is really simple to play, but difficult to put down (at least for me it was!). Once I got the hang of how to maneuver the paddle and create patterns (horizontal, vertical, and diagonal) to achieve the highest scores, I kept playing level after level, and before I knew it, I was on Level 11!
It's pretty easy to get points and clear the beginner levels, although I have yet to master how to achieve consistently high points and create multiple patterns without letting any gems fall.
I could play this game for hours--it's that addicting!
I can't wait to start playing Star*Burst again to get to the higher levels and see how challenging they are!
