Meeow and the Pots and Pans by Sebastien Braun

Recently my boys got to read a really fun book, Meeow and the Pots and Pans by Sebastien Braun, that tells a story of how some animal friends like to do something that they both like to do too--make "music" with kitchen items!

Bang a pot, hit a lid, beat the mixing bowls: Meeow and his friends are cooking up a musical treat! With just a little imagination and a few colorful kitchen items, they’ve created an amazing animal orchestra. Young readers will feel inspired to grab a spoon and a dish and join right in!

Meeow and the Pots and Pans was a fun, easy-to-read picture book. Little Music Man loved how the book's jacket cover had a furry Meeow, but he also was hoping the images of Meeow inside the book were furry too (they weren't) as he constantly tried to "pet" the images in hopes they'd feel furry like Meeow on the cover.

Despite that, he really enjoyed the book. He loved the different animals (Woof, Moo, Baa, and Quack), and he enjoyed naming all the different colors of the kitchen items. Making all of the noises the kitchen items make were a lot of fun too, and he got to see how creative the animals got with all of the pots and pans.

Smiley Boy enjoyed the book as well. He loved the colorful illustrations and naming the animals. In fact, he always calls cats "meow" so this was the perfect book for him since whenever I asked him "What's this?" when pointing to the cat, he'd say "meow!"

Meeow and the Pots and Pans is a cute book that emphasized animals, the sounds they make, colors, and more, and I'm sure the boys can't wait to start their own "parade" just like Meeow and friends.

Shop: You can purchase Meeow and the Pots and Pans at various retailers online and nationwide (ARV $12.95).
