Chicken Soup for the Soul: Family Matters: 101 Unforgettable Stories about Our Nutty but Lovable Families
Nearly everyone thinks their own family is "nutty" or has at least one or two nuts. With 101 stories of wacky yet lovable relatives, funny foibles, and holiday meltdowns along with more serious stories about abuse and outbursts, this book is usually hilarious and occasionally poignant. Readers will feel comforted, amused, and encouraged by these unforgettable stories about "nutty" families just like their own. This book shows readers that we all have the same family matters and what really matters is families. It is a quirky and fun holiday book, and a great bridal shower or wedding gift!
Unlike many of the other Chicken Soup for the Soul books I've read which often made me end up in tears, Family Matters is a book that made me end up in lots of laughter! The stories throughout Family Matters were humorous and touching, and my favorite stories were in the chapter entitled Kids Will Be Kids. A Love Affair with Sausage, a story about a boy who went to sleep not with a favorite blanket or teddy, but with sausage, was so cute, and Waffles, about two boys who took it upon themselves to try and make breakfast and clean up after themselves was such a heartwarming and funny story!
There are stories in Family Matters about kids, parents, relatives, and in-laws that I'm sure everyone could relate to in one way or another, and in the end I think you'll learn to appreciate your family even more, and perhaps even breathe a sigh of relief that you're not alone in terms of the silly situations you and your family find yourselves in!

Inglesina introduces Avio: the ideal stroller for dynamic and resourceful parents.

His favorite animal was the monkey (piano), and he'd constantly dance throughout the entire DVD.

Hold It Baby was created in 2009 by mompreneur Elizabeth Lyons. Elizabeth had quite simply grown weary of hearing "Uh oh" from the backseat of the car as she barreled down the highway, or being forced (or, as she says, "choosing, in lieu of listening to this child's screams of protest") to return a toy or book to a child in a stroller after it had fallen onto a hardly sanitary floor. Unable to understand why no one had created a product that would hold not just sippy cups but also the board books, stuffed animals, small blankets and toys that her kids continually dropped (or threw) from the car seat, stroller, high chair, or shopping cart, she took it upon herself to bring that particular sanity-saver to market.
I added a photo of my two boys, and what I love about UrbanityStudios design process is that I could change the background color, font, text, alignment, and even opacity of the text!

The Wiggling Worm Grasping Toy is the cutest worm we've ever seen. Unfortunately for Smiley and Musician, we've kept this toy unopened so DS3 will have a "new" toy to play with, but every time Smiley sees the box, he's asking me to open it. I don't blame him!
