Whenever I make Mexican food, I always buy Mezzetta Jalapeno Peppers, but I had no idea how many other different types of products they made, and I recently got to try out some of their new items!
Some of Mezzetta’s Newer Products:
Castelvetrano Olives – the hottest olives to hit restaurants and olive bars is now available in a jar! Bright green and boasting a mellow, buttery and nutty flavor unlike any other variety, Castelvetrano olives are winning over even non-olive fans. The Sicilian imports are great for cooking and snacking and entertaining. Only 20 calories with 2 grams of fat and zero carbs per serving!
Artichoke Parmesan Marinara – this pasta sauce has been added to Mezzetta’s popular Napa Valley Bistro Pasta Sauce family. The Artichoke Parmesan Marinara is robust but tender and loaded with locally-grown artichokes that add a surprise depth to the sauce.
Gourmet Deli Peppers – Mezzetta’s newest line of roasted and caramelized all-natural peppers that are set to raise the standards of sandwich making. Specific varieties include:

I was fortunate to receive a bunch of Mezzetta products, and I recently made spaghetti with the Amatriciana Pasta Sauce.
I loved how chunky the sauce was (I don't like runny sauces). You could really see the nicely-sized pieces of pancetta and onion (I tried to take a really close up picture above so you could see the different ingredients in the sauce), and it had a nice, spicy kick because of the crushed chili peppers, which I thought was an interesting touch.
DH loved the sauce too!
Next time we're going to try and make pizza with the Amatriciana sauce since we love to make pizza at home!
