Mommy Guilt

I recently asked about Middle Child Syndrome, and lately it seems to be getting worse...

Just about anytime I'm doing anything with Baby, Smiley will cry one of the following:

No burp Baby!

No feed Baby!

Put Baby down!

Bye Baby!

It breaks my heart a little...

On the other hand, Musician lights up whenever he sees Baby.  He'll tell him "Hi" and ask to give him a kiss all the time!

I'm hoping Smiley will soon realize that I still love him even though he's not the "baby" of the house anymore.

Aw, poor guy! I have 4 brothers, and I recall one of the middle boys was often jealous of the youngest. I'm sad to report that it didn't get easier, at least until they were teenagers. The older one teased the younger one, out of jealousy. I can't remember if my mom tried to change the behavior, or if she didn't know about it.

I'm hoping Smiley comes around, and maybe finds a role as helper or something.
