Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Collection #1 iPad App Review

I love hearing Musician read, and I love it when he gets really excited as he reads, as was the case when he read The Cat in the Hat from the Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Collection #1 App from Oceanhouse Media.

The Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Collection #1 contains five exciting Dr. Seuss titles for young readers. Enjoy The Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, The FOOT Book, Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? and Fox In Socks all in one omBook!

Can you believe I had never read The Cat in the Hat before?  I've read several other Dr. Seuss books, but I had no idea what the story was about until Musician read it to me via the Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Collection #1 App.

He was really interested to see all the items the Cat in the Hat could balance on himself, such as the fishbowl, the rake, the cake, the books, and so much more!

He also thought it was a bit funny how messy everything became.

At the end of the story, when asked  "what would you do if your mother asked you?" what you did today, he said "Say sorry!"

I thought that was such a cute answer!

Musician's favorite story in the series is Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?  It's his favorite Dr. Seuss book!

Smiley really loves the app too.  He's heard so many of the stories several times already, so he knows parts of each story by heart.  He's able to learn a lot of new words simply by touching them on screen and hearing the word being pronounced.

Dr. Seuss books are a delight to read at any age, and being able to bring words to life through the Dr. Seuss Beginning Book Collection #1 makes daily story-time a whole lot of fun!

We can't wait to see what books are featured in Collection #2!

Shop: You can purchase a download of the Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Collection #1 from the iTunes App Store (SRP $11.99).
