Luckily, we received an adorable Crane Frog Humidifier to help provide some relief from all of the coughs and sneezes.
The Crane Ultrasonic Cool Mist Model EE-3191 Frog Humidifier uses quiet ultrasonic technology to deliver up to 24 hours of cool, soothing moisture. Capable of providing non-medicated relief for dry coughs, colds, nasal congestion, and dry skin, the fun and friendly frog design makes this a great addition to your child's room. As well as providing a cool mist of comforting relief the Freddy the Frog Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is compact, user-friendly, and energy-efficient.
The very cute Crane Humidifier was very simple to set up.
Simply rinse out the water tank, fill it with cool tap water, and place it back on the humidifier body after screwing the cap on tightly.
Plug in the humidifier, turn it on, and in just a few seconds mists will start coming out from the Mist Output Slots.
It's important to place the humidifier on an elevated, waterproof, non-metallic service (basically a safe place out of a child's reach and that won't be damaged by the mists of water) and to clean out the tank and basin thoroughly to prevent bacterial growth.
I think the Crane Humidifier is really adorable, and my boys do too, and in a way that's a drawback because they keep thinking it's a toy, so I have to remind them that they can't touch it.
I love that the tank easily fits into our bathroom sink (we had another humidifier with a tank that could barely fit into our sink, making it difficult to fill). I also think it's great that the humidifier is VERY quiet (just a slight hum which is actually soothing), and that controlling the mist output is very easy with a turn of the dial.
There is a safety feature which stops the mist output if the humidifier runs out of water, but I've only operated the humidifier for short times so fortunately running out of water has not been an issue for me (it can operate up to 24 hours on one full tank), but it's good to know that the safety feature exists.
Overall I love our Crane Humidifier. It helps to provide relief from the inevitable coughs and sneezes, and I know it will continue to come in handy the next time someone in our family gets sick.
